The Economy Borough Planning Commission is a seven member commission, appointed by Borough Council. The Planning Commission is responsible for preparation of the Comprehensive Plan for the Borough, maintaining records of all meetings, making recommendations to the Borough Council regarding the official map, preparing and recommending a zoning ordinance and Subdivision & Land Development Ordinance, reviewing and offering recommendations concerning development proposals of public, civic and private agencies.
